What is the maximum number of people allowed in each Villa?
- Both villas hold up to 12 people with 10 guests in 5 bedrooms plus there is one spare fold down bed for 2 further guests. Cots/Cribs can be hired from our Property Manager at a very reasonable rate.
- For the comfort and safety of all our guests, smoking is strictly prohibited within the Villas however is permitted in our Deck Area. Dogs are only allowed with prior permission from the Owners and upon payment of a Dog Fee. The Security Deposit is increased to $500 for Dog owners.
How far away are the main attractions?
- The Abbey is only 10 minutes from Walt Disney World. Sea World is 20 minutes away and Universal 30 minutes. This is one of the major reasons this is such a sought after area. For example you can be underneath Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom for the Fireworks display at 10.00 p.m. (summertime) and then back sitting by the Pool in the Villa by 11.00 p.m. This includes the walking, taking the Monorail, finding your car and driving home! Our Villa at Calabay Parc at Tower Lake is a further 5 minutes away.
Do the Pools/Spas back onto other properties?
- The Abbey has unrestricted views of a Conservation Area and Lake and has no other house behind it. Our Villa at Calabay Parc has no other Villa behind it and has a view of a pleasant green area. Both Villas are not overlooked and are extremely private. Both Decks measure over 1500 sq. ft. (the size of the total floor area upstairs and downstairs in an average U.K. Semi Detached house!)
Are both Villas quiet and private?
- Yes and both Villas are protected by Electric Gates which restrict access to the Community.
How do we locate/enter the properties?
- Exact Driving directions and keypad entry codes will be sent to you upon payment of your final balance.
Will we have to bring bed linen/towels etc.?
- No! Both Villas are fully equipped for all your likely holiday needs. Bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided. A small initial supply of washing powder/dishwasher powder/toilet rolls etc are provided which you will have to top up as required.
Do you have any facilities for small children?
- Both Villas are well equipped for small children. Cot/Cribs & Highchairs are provided. In addition we have a Pool Safety alarms fitted at The Abbey on all of the patio doors to the Deck Area and there is a Pool Safety Fence at Calabay Parc.
What entertainment is provided?
- For young children in both Villas there are a selection of toys, games, Sony PS2 and some DVDs. For the older children and adults there is a fully equipped Games Room in each Villa incorporating a Pool Table, Fussball, and Air Hockey Table. There is even a Table Tennis Table at The Abbey. There are also DVD players in each of the Master Bedrooms plus a Surround Sound DVD System in the main sitting area and each bedroom has its own T.V. There is also a Clubhouse, Commmunity Pool and Tennis Courts at The Abbey ideal for teenagers.
- The pool can be heated (by agreement). Pool/Spa Heating prices vary depending on the price of energy at the time. The Spa can not be heated separately, so to enjoy the fantastic Spa under the stars with the kids in bed, we recommend the Pool heat which is charged at cost (no profit). Currently Pool/Spa heating costs from 1st April to 30th Sept. $15 per night at The Abbey & $20 per night at Calabay. From 1st October to 31st March $25 per night at The Abbey & $30 per night at Calabay.
- Both Villas are just 3 minutes away from major supermarkets. The Premium Outlets Mall is only 20/25 minutes away and houses many designer label stores (including Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Timberland, Adidas, Versace, Armani etc.) In addition there is a wide variety of stores on Highway 192. We also have the Posner development nearby opening in 2008 where there will be restaurants, JC Penney, Target , Books a Million, Dick's Sporting Goods, and many more.
Are there any restaurants nearby?
- Within 3 minutes of each Villa, there are a large variety of restaurants.
Are there any medical services nearby?
- Hopefully you will not need this, but for peace of mind there is a walk in Medical Centre 8-10 minutes away. Additionally the Heart Of Florida Hospital is only 5-6 minutes away and a 24 hour Walgreens Drug Store is only 2 minutes away.
- The house is professional cleaned prior to your arrival and the Pool/Spa and garden are tended to weekly.
Who do we contact for questions/emergencies?
- We have employed a professional (24/7) management company to look after your every need. Management companies vary dramatically in what they offer ..we believe ours is the best in the business - nothing is too much trouble for Terry.
Do we pay extra for any of the equipment in the villa?
- Absolutely not! Everything is included in the price except for Pool/Spa heat.
